The Shin - Australia

Oh my! I am in love with this song and video!!!!!!

I love the Vocals , gives me the chills! And i adore the video to go along with it! The use of balloons and the orange suits to represent the aussies :)
I have been listening to the Shins all day and i'm totally blown away!!! Why haven't i listened to this band before???
Want to know more about them?
Formed by James Mercer in 1997 set out only as a duo, with on drums Jesse Sandoval. Mercer originally set out in 1992 with the band Flake music, but as that flopped he decided to do a single with Sandoval and thus The Shins were born.
Tell me what you think?????

I'm proud to say im not longer a GLEE VIRGIN!

OK so i've finally watched the first season complete of Glee. And everything i have ever said....i take back. I L.O.V.E it! I know there is a chorus of groans to read this but seriously i know life is not like this but who says we can't just gorge on the happy, soul lightening sound of show tunes?
So the plot is a little eratic, the acting is ... dramatic, but close your eyes, lay down and let your heart dance inside your chest as you listen to chirpy teenagers have fun.

Sometimes the choice of song is a littlle cheesy but there are some really good vocals. Not forgeting the really good choices, Don't stop believing? Woah did that rocket in the charts! Who would have thought that a t.v programme would set that craze off again?! And it sure did. Whether you were one of those people who would only listen to the origional, it was sparked by Glee. It affected you :P

So now im really disappointed that i don't have the second series, is there even a second series? I'm definatly putting this on my christmas list (:
A fan or not?

X Factor- Christmas no.1?

So i went out and asked the public what they thought of X-Factor dominating the spot of Christmas No.1. Here's what they said (:

Mixdown cas's version by casperusual
So year after year X factor claim the Christmas number 1 spot. Buh oh ho no! Last Christmas Rage against the Machine stole the position with millions voting for this band to win with their song 'Killing in the name'. Joe Mcelderry missed out on his promised number one despite winning the 2009 competition.
This year the 2010 contestants are facing another case of No.1 blues. Wagner, the Brazilian opera singer has been voted in each week whilst supposed better singers are casted out despite the uproar from the fellow contestants. After the show last Sunday with Aiden being voted out, the remaining X Factor contestants were devastated as he was a popular man around the house. As arguments were raised in the house, Wagner was moved out and is currently staying in a holiday inn near by.
So as the nation is keeping in Wagner, one has to wonder why? It's obvious that there are better singers being knocked out. A Christmas number 1 challenge to screw over the X Factor again? This could be so but this is not the only plot against the ITV weekend show. There has been many suggestions to overtake the X Factor in the Christmas no.1, for example radio 1'd bid for 'the bird is the word'. Also the want of an actual Christmas song to get the top spot in the charts has been popular recently.
So what do you think?
Are you game for another race for the no. 1? The tension as you wait anxiously to see whether your rage against X Factor has been worth it.
