BRIDESMAIDS film review
Directed by Paul Fieg the film Bridesmaids is one of the funniest films i have seen in long while. With a brilliant performance, and it really is a performance, from Kristen Wiig starring alongside Maya Rudolph and Rose Byrne, this film tickled the pickle of every single woman in the cinema.
Best friend Annie (Wiig) is chosen as head bridesmaid and in charge of the bridal parties events before the wedding. As you can imagine what ever could go wrong, does, in this female version (albeit better) of The Hangover.
This is the kind of film that will make you snort with laughter and not even care of people hearing because the woman next to you is wheezing her heart out too!
With appearances from Little Britain’s Matt Lucas and the IT Crowd’s Chris O’Dowd you’re sure to have a giggle or two with your best friend, your sister, your mum and even your grandma!
Go see this film if you want to have a good laugh! I’ve seen it once and have already planned to see it again!
FOUR STARS!!!

Running For 3 Counties. BBC.
SO... on Friday night i was back in my home town Luton and i went back to 3 Counties for the BBC Introducing show. It was so nice to see the whole team again!
As you may or may not know, i'm studying Radio Journalism at Uni, and going to help out at 3 Counties is such good practise! Well this week i got more than i bargained for....Band On A Bike...
Kelly the Producer usually commentates for this show stopping feature, HOWEVER...she has been super ill recently, so the job was put to MOI. ...'Ahh!'
My belly was bubbling and i was so nervous but as they say...'now or never..' and i did it!
I was rather bad, but give me a break it was my first time! Anyway...Practice makes perfect! Lets just hope they let me back in again!!! Hahaha.
Click HERE to listen to the show and bear witness to my not-so UH-some performance!!
only 5 days to listen and comment on my commentary .. :P

University Blues.
There are so many great things that occur because of going to University. There is no doubt about that. You meet new and different people. You have the chance to start it on your own and develop a new Independence and responsibility for yourself.
However I have found that there are severe consequences to going to Uni and they all stem from MONEY. This seems to form the root of many Uni student's problems. Living away from home you have to allocate money to fund your weekly food shop, toiletries, clothes and hair-cuts. That's not even including your nights out, your alcohol, and your in-frequent trips home for washing your clothes.
What happens when you don't have any MONEY?
Your new found Independence tumbles and crashes down as you ask your parents/guardians for a loan. Many students have had to and will continue to do so. There is no shame in asking for help, it takes more guts to ask than not to.
If you can't ask your parents/guardians for some MONEY to get buy then invest in looking for a worthy bank that will include a interest free over draft. This though you should do before moving away to Uni!
My suggestion? Natwest.
You get a rail card that saves soo much money, and you also get 250£ interest free over draft for your first semester which goes up to 500£ your next semester and then 1000£. This is a worthy thing to look out for bc it also means that once you graduate you can pay this money back without having to worry about interest.
Get a job! One day a week can help you so much! If you get a free day off of Uni then get your arse to a computer, print off your C.V and hand them out! You will develop an extra confidence and independence. It's YOUR hard earned MONEY! You can save it or you can put it towards food or something.
Interested in SAVING?
NUS cards are also a good investment! One payment of 11£ can save you so much MONEY in the long run. Discounts in top high street shops as well as online shops! Who knows with all the money you can effectively save could go to that UH-some pair of boots that you've been eye-ing up the past month!
I've not yet finished my 3 years @ Uni, in fact i'm only in my first year! However, i read an article that more and more post graduates are having to sign up for the dole. I for sure am going to do my best not to end up in that situation! I'm saving as much as i can from now on, as well as doing extra work! Your Uni encourages internships and work experience so go get some!
Any comments? Or Questions? Feel free to drop a line or two below ;)

Remi Gaillard - UHsome!!!!!!!!!
Remi Gaillard - Who is he?
This French dude is known best for his humorous pranks on the French nation. His quirky style just has me in fits of giggles EVERY time! Listed on YouTube you can see the best of his practical jokes!
He is also quite a skilled football player!
Why he is UHsome..
His unique look on life is fantastic! He does things that are obvious but no one else would think of like dressing up as a dog and going on to a gold course and chasing after peoples golf balls. But then again he thinks of some of the randomest things EVER!!! This French man is a comedian that praises old style comedy, no need to make fun of someone when good 'ole slap stick still works a charm!
My list of UHsome videos of his . . .
Click on the titles and you'll be taken to a YouTube video :)
